SAUDI ARABIA King to spend last 10 days of Ramadan in Makkah

JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has arrived in Makkah, where he will spend the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan near the Grand Mosque, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on Saturday.
He was received at the Al Safa Palace by Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Turki and Prince Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulrahman, the assistant undersecretary of Makkah Region for Rights.
The king was received also by a number of ulemas, advisers and senior, civil and military, officials.
King Salman arrived in Makkah on Friday night from Jeddah, shortly after his return from a visit to Madinah, SPA said.
The king was in Madinah on Wednesday and Thursday, during which he announced several new projects focusing on improving health, education, water, electricity and sanitation services.
